Volume 106- October 2008, Notes

The convesation with Oliver was incredible and I was very lucky to have a few minutes alone with the man to talk about his work, his career, and his new book.

Oliver is an incredible artist and someone I admire very much. Even more now that he gave me a copy of his new book, “The Hurt Business,” which you can find on amazon.com.

Also, between the conversation with Oliver and the posting, I attended another conference where I was able to talk with many other incredible people. I also listened to some great spoken word by young poet Yosimar Reyes.

I like his work so much that I decided to add one of his poems on this episode. A conversation with this young artist will be available sometime in the future.

For the next episode, volume 107, I will feature a conversation with Tony Garcia, artistic director of “Su Teatro” Theatre company based in Denver, Colorado.
